2.2 Entering License Information

Enter your name and license ID exactly as it appears in the registration e-mail. If you enter your name in any other form, it will not work with the license ID.  PLEASE RECORD YOUR USERNAME AND UNLOCK CODE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.  The startup banner is an indication that MP3rat is not registered:

After you purchase MP3rat, you will receive a confirmation email that contains the unlock information.  The email will be titled "MP3rat" and contain your unique unlock code in the following format:

          Name: John Smith

1.x License ID: 1111-2222-3333-4444

After you have received your registration email, you can complete the unlocking of MP3rat by selecting the "Enter License..." option under from the Help menu, described in Section 9.1.7 Help Menu,  or clicking on "Enter License" from the startup banner..

This action will present you with another dialog, where you need to enter your information from the registration email. (We suggest you copy and paste this information into the dialog to ensure it is entered correctly):

An indication that the product was successfully registered is the absence of product banner on start-up. You will receive feedback in the lower left corner of MP3rat immediately after pressing the "Ok" button to indicate registration was successful:
