Uninstalling MP3rat Chapter 10

Prior to uninstalling, you must quit MP3rat so that Windows can properly delete the MP3rat files.

Select Uninstall from the MP3rat section of the Windows Program menu. This will run the included uninstall program which will remove MP3rat from your computer.

The uninstall program will display the following dialog:

Select Automatic as shown above and press the Next button. A message requesting confirmation to uninstall the program will then be displayed, press the Finish button to remove MP3rat.

This uninstall program will undo all changes made to the registry and to the Windows Start menu. However, it will not delete the MP3rat 1.0 directory if files are in it that the install program did not create. For instance, if you created a playlist file in the MP3rat directory, the uninstall program will not delete it. To remove these files, use Windows Explorer to locate the directory and delete it.
