Uninstalling Powermarks Chapter 11

Prior to uninstalling, you must quit Powermarks and all running instances of Internet Explorer so that Windows can properly delete the Powermarks files.

Select Uninstall from the Powermarks section of the Windows Program menu. This will run the included uninstall program which will remove Powermarks from your computer.

The uninstall program will display the following dialog:

Select Automatic as shown above and press the Next button. A message requesting confirmation to uninstall the program will then be displayed, press the Finish button to remove Powermarks.

This uninstall program will undo all changes made to the registry and to the Windows Start menu. However, it will not delete the Powermarks directory if files are in it that the install program did not create. For instance, if you created a bookmark file in the Powermarks directory, the uninstall program will not delete it. To remove these files, use Windows Explorer to locate the directory and delete it.
